The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered for the BMW E90, E91, and E92 3-Series, offering a sophisticated, bolt-on braking upgrade. This system is designed with drifting and rally racing in mind, featuring a unique dual-caliper setup. A single 4-pot caliper is utilized, with two pots dedicated to the foot brake and two to the handbrake, each operating on its own independent system for enhanced control and reliability. Constructed with a lightweight forged one-piece caliper made from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit is built for durability and to withstand high temperatures. The caliper pistons are aluminum with heavy-duty seals, and the opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, recommended for track use as they help dissipate heat, dust, and gases more effectively. This kit comes standard with everything needed for installation, including calipers, floating brake discs, SC5 Street Pads, and a polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever. Optional upgrades include RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions, various caliper color finishes, and premium center bell upgrades. The system includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which reduce pedal expansion under pressure for quicker response and a firmer pedal feel. Carbon steel caliper brackets are also included to ensure a direct fit to OEM caliper bracket locations.
