Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit offers a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade for the BMW E90, E91, and E92 3-Series models from 2006-2013, specifically designed for the rear axle. This kit features a unique Dual Caliper solution, where one set of pistons in the 4-piston caliper is dedicated to the foot brake, and the other set is for the handbrake, each with its own independent system. This design is particularly beneficial for drifting and rally racing applications. The calipers are constructed from a lightweight, forged one-piece billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring superior strength and even thickness to prevent fracturing or warpage. The pistons are made from aluminum and protected by heavy-duty seals capable of withstanding high temperatures. Opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. The rotors feature lightweight center sections crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for quicker response and better heat dissipation. Cross-drilled rotors are included, recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler than slotted rotors. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, preventing hose expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer feel. Standard with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also includes a polished Titanium handbrake cylinder and lever. Calipers come in various standard colors, with options for premium high-polish finishes and custom color upgrades. Center bell customization options, including Titanium and twin-color anodized bells, are also available. The kit is made to order and is non-refundable. Fitment is specific to BMW 3 Series models 2006-2013, excluding Xi models and Sedan models after 2011, provided they have the 160mm OEM centerbell width.
