The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered for high-performance driving applications like drifting and rally racing, offering a unique dual-caliper solution for the BMW E92 M3. This system utilizes a single 4-piston caliper, with dedicated pairs of pistons for both the foot brake and the handbrake, each functioning on its own independent system. Constructed with a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit ensures superior strength and even thickness to prevent fracturing and warping. The caliper pistons are aluminum and feature heavy-duty seals capable of handling high temperatures, while opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad wear. These rotors feature lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections for reduced rotational mass and improved brake response. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers for better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles to help dissipate heat, dust, and gases. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. An optional upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. It also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for a firmer pedal feel and quicker response compared to stock rubber lines.
