The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit offers an advanced braking solution for your BMW E60/E61 5-Series, specifically engineered for drifting and rally racing applications. This innovative system utilizes a unique dual caliper setup where one set of pistons functions for the primary foot brake, while a separate set is dedicated to the handbrake, ensuring independent operation and enhanced control. Constructed with a lightweight forged one-piece caliper made from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit prioritizes strength and durability to withstand high temperatures and racing conditions. The two-piece rotor design, featuring a 330mm diameter and 32mm thickness, further contributes to weight reduction and fade-free performance. Ksport offers a choice between slotted rotors, recommended for track use due to their heat dissipation, and cross-drilled rotors, better suited for daily driving. Stainless steel braided brake lines are included to improve pedal response and feel by eliminating expansion under pressure. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The calipers themselves are available in a wide range of colors, with options for premium high-polish finishes and custom color choices. Customization extends to the center bell upgrades, including titanium options. The kit includes CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets to facilitate bolt-on installation. This Big Brake Kit is Formula Drift legal and is made to order. It fits BMW 5 Series 2004-2010 E60/E61 models, excluding xi and M5 variants.
