The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered as an ultimate all-in-one dual caliper solution, specifically designed with drifting and rally racing in mind. This advanced system utilizes a single 4-piston caliper, ingeniously configured so that two pistons manage the foot brake and the other two handle the handbrake, each operating independently on its own system. This design ensures robust stopping power and precise control. The caliper pistons are also aluminum, protected by heavy-duty seals capable of withstanding high racetrack temperatures. An opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear. Additionally, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. Featuring a two-piece rotor design, the Dualcomp Big Brake Kit offers lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. The two-piece construction also minimizes warping due to heat buildup, and the aluminum center sections act as heat sinks, dissipating heat more effectively. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance, with options for cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) or slotted (recommended for track use) surfaces. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track use. The system also includes a polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever, along with CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate expansion under pressure, providing quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. A variety of caliper color options, including custom finishes, and center bell customization are available, allowing for personalization to match your vehicle's aesthetic.
