The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is a high-performance braking solution engineered for the BMW E30 3-Series. This comprehensive kit is designed with drifting and rally racing in mind, featuring a dual-caliper system that utilizes a single 4-pot caliper. Within this caliper, two pistons are dedicated to the primary foot brake, while the other two independently operate the handbrake, providing enhanced control and performance. The kit includes a 356mm x 32mm two-piece floating brake disc, designed for reduced weight and improved fade resistance. The rotors are available in either cross-drilled or slotted configurations, with cross-drilled recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation, and slotted rotors for track-focused applications to manage heat effectively. The center sections are crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, acting as heat sinks and allowing for independent expansion and contraction of the rotor halves to minimize warping. Constructed from aerospace-quality aluminum, the one-piece forged calipers are exceptionally lightweight and strong, eliminating potential weak spots. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for street use and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit includes all necessary hardware, CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets, and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that reduce line expansion under pressure for a firmer pedal feel.
