The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered as a high-performance braking solution, specifically for the Mercedes Benz C218 CLS 550 (Non-AMG) models from 2012-2014. This advanced system offers a unique Dual Caliper setup, utilizing a single 4-pot caliper. Within this caliper, two pistons are dedicated to the primary foot brake system, while the other two operate independently for the handbrake, providing distinct and controlled braking applications. Constructed with a lightweight forged one-piece caliper from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit ensures strength and even thickness to prevent fracturing and warpage. The calipers feature aluminum pistons with heavy-duty seals for high-temperature resistance, ensuring smooth operation and preventing corrosion. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. The two-piece rotor design, measuring 356mm x 32mm, contributes to reduced weight and fade-free performance. The kit includes drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures compared to slotted rotors. Lightweight center sections crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum reduce rotational mass for improved responsiveness. Each kit comes complete with calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads (with an option to upgrade to race pads), a polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever, CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct OEM fitment, and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines.
