The Ksport Dualcomp Big Brake Kit is an advanced braking system engineered for the Honda Civic and CRX models spanning the years 1988-1991. This kit provides a unique Dual Caliper solution, incorporating 4-piston calipers designed to manage both the primary foot brake and a secondary independent handbrake system. This setup is particularly suited for drifting and rally racing applications and is Formula Drift legal. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, while significantly reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included to eliminate line expansion under pressure, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Ksport offers customization options for caliper colors, including standard options like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium finishes such as Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as glassy/hard anodized colors. Additionally, over 20,000 custom color finishes are available. Rotor choices include both Cross Drilled and Slotted options, with Cross Drilled recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operating temperatures, and Slotted recommended for track use.
