The Ksport BKLX200-445CO DualComp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered for demanding performance driving disciplines such as drifting and rally racing, offering a complete rear brake upgrade. Its standout feature is a unique single 4-piston caliper design that ingeniously combines both foot brake and handbrake functions within one unit. Two pistons are dedicated to the primary foot brake circuit, while the other two independently serve the handbrake circuit, each operating on its own hydraulic system for maximum control and reliability. Key features of this kit include 14-inch (356mm) two-piece floating brake discs. These discs utilize a cross-drilled rotor style, which enhances heat dissipation, making them suitable for both street and daily-driven applications. The lightweight two-piece rotor construction includes a rotor hat crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, often resulting in up to a 50% weight reduction compared to OEM rotors of similar size. This floating design allows the outer ring to expand and contract independently from the aluminum center section, significantly minimizing heat warping under sustained braking conditions. The calipers are constructed from aluminum, and the friction material composition is ceramic.
