Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit

This system features a unique dual caliper setup: two pistons are dedicated to the primary foot brake, while the other two independently operate the handbrake system. The kit comes complete with calipers, floating two-piece rotors (330x32mm), and SC5 street pads, along with all required hardware for installation. Constructed from lightweight forged one-piece aluminum, the calipers are built for durability and strength, eliminating potential weak spots. They feature aluminum pistons protected by heavy-duty seals capable of handling high track temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and consistent pad wear due to their opposed-piston design. High-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. The two-piece rotors are significantly lighter than OEM, reducing rotational mass for quicker response and less unsprung weight. The rotors are available in cross-drilled or slotted designs; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use to manage heat, dust, and gases. This kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions, though these are not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperature requirements. The calipers are available in a variety of standard colors like Ksport Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium finishes and custom color options available at an additional cost.
