Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit

This kit integrates a single 4-piston caliper, with two pistons dedicated to the primary foot brake and the other two independently operating the handbrake system. This innovative design provides enhanced stopping power and control, particularly beneficial for drifting and rally racing applications. Constructed with a lightweight forged one-piece caliper body from aerospace-grade aluminum, this kit is built for durability and strength, eliminating weak spots common in cast or welded designs. The caliper pistons are aluminum with heavy-duty seals to withstand high temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and preventing drag or corrosion. The two-piece rotor design contributes to reduced weight and fade-free performance, featuring a 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center section for lower rotational mass and improved heat dissipation. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are advised for track-focused use. Standard inclusions for the Dualcomp Big Brake Kit feature SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which provide a firmer pedal feel and quicker response compared to stock rubber lines. Customization options for caliper color and center bell finishes are available to personalize the appearance of your braking system. This kit requires 18-inch wheels and is made to order.
