The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is an advanced braking solution engineered for the Audi 4M Q7, specifically designed with drifting and rally racing in mind. This kit features a unique dual caliper system where one 4-piston caliper uses two pistons for the primary foot brake and two pistons for the handbrake, each operating independently on its own system. This setup provides enhanced stopping power and control. The calipers are constructed from a lightweight, one-piece forged aluminum billet, ensuring exceptional strength, even thickness, and resistance to fracturing, warpage, and failure. Standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The rotors feature 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections that reduce rotational mass and act as heat sinks, promoting longer rotor life. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use to enhance bite and clean pad surfaces. Included in the kit are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which reduce line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The standard SC5 Street Pads offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions.
