Description

The Yukon Dura Grip limited slip differential, part number YDGGMVET-3-17-1, is engineered for enhanced traction and performance in 1963-1979 Classic Corvette vehicles. This positraction unit is specifically designed to accommodate gear ratios ranging from 2.73 to 3.90 and features 17 spline axles. Constructed with durability in mind, the Dura Grip differential incorporates composite clutches for smooth engagement and a fully rebuildable design. It is proudly assembled in the USA, featuring 4320 chromoly spider gears known for their superior strength and longevity. The gears are precision cut to provide the strongest possible teeth, ensuring reliable performance in various driving conditions. For optimal operation and longevity, Yukon recommends using high-grade, non-synthetic GL-5 gear oil along with their specific LSD additive (Part number OILADD). The use of synthetic oil is not advised as it may lead to noisy or aggressive operation.
