Description

By incorporating a Yukon Dura Grip limited-slip differential (LSD) and an upgraded ring and pinion gear set, this kit enhances grip and reduces wheel slip under load. This re-gear kit allows you to change to a more aggressive 3.90 gear ratio, which can lead to better acceleration. It is designed to fit GM 8.5-inch differentials and cases with ratios between 2.93 and 3.23. The kit includes a 12-bolt ring gear and a 27-spline pinion gear. The kit's components include the Dura Grip positraction LSD (28 spline), a complete ring and pinion gear set, and all necessary bearings and installation hardware. This comprehensive package provides a substantial upgrade for performance and reliability. Specific vehicle coverage includes '64 to '72 Olds 442, '65 to '71 GTO, and three other models, or any vehicle modified with a GM 8.5-inch differential.
