Description

It utilizes a nodular case and forged 4320 internals, ensuring increased strength under demanding conditions. This differential is built for 10-bolt, 8.5-inch ring gear axles with 28-spline axles and is suitable for gear ratios of 2.73 and up. It is backed by a 1-year manufacturer's warranty. Yukon Gear & Axle strongly recommends the use of high-grade, non-synthetic GL-5 gear oil for this assembly to ensure long life and smooth operation. The use of synthetic oil is not advised, as it may result in aggressive or noisy performance. The Dura Grip Positraction differential assembly fits a wide range of Chevrolet, GMC, and Pontiac vehicles from the 1970s through the 1990s, including Camaro, Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu, Firebird, Nova, GTO, LeMans, Tempest, C/K Pick-Up Trucks, K5 Blazer, and others. It is also compatible with select Oldsmobile Cutlass and Buick Skylark models.
