The Facet Dura-Lift 12v Fuel Pump is a solid-state electronic fuel pump engineered in the USA for maximum reliability. Its design removes common failure points like breaker points, bearings, and diaphragms, making it ideal for demanding applications. This pump is compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends (up to E85), diesel, biodiesel, and fuel additives. It is equipped with a cleanable, 80-micron stainless steel filter within a transparent bowl, allowing for simple visual inspection. An internal one-way valve helps minimize fuel drain-back to the tank, and fuel can be pulled forward through the pump when it is off. The 40222N model delivers up to 33 gallons per hour at free-flow and operates at a maximum pressure of 9 to 11.5 psi. Its self-priming capability allows for a dry lift of up to 120 inches, facilitating easy mounting even when the tank is located below the pump. This pump is an excellent replacement for the original cam-driven mechanical lift pump found on 1983-1994 Ford medium-duty trucks and vans equipped with the International-Navistar 6.9L or 7.3L IDI diesel engines. It features female 1/8 NPT inlet and outlet ports and operates on a 12-volt negative ground system.
