DV+ VTA Blow-Off Valve

This VTA DV+ Performance valve delivers an aggressive blow-off sound while enhancing the vehicle's performance. It provides improved throttle response, faster boost recovery during gearshifts and throttle modulation, and superior boost holding reliability, especially in extreme conditions. The factory diverter valve commonly found in these applications is susceptible to failure through diaphragm rupture or sticking valve stems. These failures can lead to a boost leak, forcing the ECU to overcompensate by increasing wastegate duty cycle, thereby significantly increasing turbocharger RPM and potentially causing damage. The GFB VTA utilizes CNC-machined billet components and a durable elastomer piston seal, ensuring a lifetime of reliability that cannot be compromised by high boost pressures or temperatures. Performance-wise, the factory diverter valve operates in a binary open or closed state, leading to increased lag and non-linear boost transitions. The VTA, however, employs patented piston-style operation that allows it to open and close progressively. This means it only vents the necessary amount of air to prevent compressor surge, resulting in smoother boost transitions, more linear throttle response, and minimized lag. The VTA also features GFB's Turbo Management System (TMS) technology for faster boost recovery, allowing the turbo to return to peak boost more quickly after throttle modulation. Installation is straightforward with simple, direct bolt-on kits that include all necessary hardware.
