Show original supplier description
The DeatschWerks DW300C series fuel pump offers a high-flow 340LPH capacity in a compact, in-tank design. It is specifically designed as an upgrade for a range of vehicles, including the 2016-2025 Honda Civic, 2017-2025 Honda Civic Type-R, 2018-2025 Honda Accord, 2016-2020 Mazda MX-5, and 2017-2020 Fiat 124 Spider. This fuel pump is ideal for enthusiasts looking to support modified engines, including those running E40 fuel blends, by ensuring sufficient fuel delivery without overstressing the pump. The kit includes all necessary wiring and parts for a correct installation. Some users have noted that the new pump does not utilize the OEM fuel filter and instead uses the provided sock. Installation tips suggest pulling pins from the OEM plug and wiring the new pump directly for a cleaner connection. While the pump itself is a direct fit in many applications, specific installation details, such as securing the pump without using the bottom clip of the OEM pump, are important considerations. The compact design also allows for fitment into other popular applications such as WRX, R35 GTR, EvoX, CTS-V2, and BRZ/FRS, though this specific kit is tailored for the listed Honda and Fiat/Mazda models. This upgrade is particularly relevant for users planning to utilize higher ethanol content fuels, such as E40. By blending E85 with premium gasoline, users can achieve the desired E30-E40 range to support increased power demands. The DW300C ensures a robust fuel supply necessary for these modifications.
