The DeatschWerks DW340v is engineered as a high-flow, direct-fit fuel pump designed to seamlessly integrate into the OEM fuel pump modules of a wide range of VW and Audi vehicles. It is particularly suited for models equipped with 1.8T, 2.0 TSI, and 2.0 TFSI engines. This pump boasts a robust flow rate of 340 liters per hour at 40psi, representing a significant 36% improvement over the DW65v pump and is capable of supporting over 500 horsepower. Its construction includes a quiet and reliable turbine impeller, a durable carbon commutator, and an encapsulated armature, ensuring compatibility with ethanol-based fuels. The design also aims to eliminate fuel starvation issues that can arise with aftermarket high-flow pumps. While designed for drop-in installation, the DW340v's high-performance motor has a higher current draw than stock. Consequently, it is not compatible with OEM fuel pump control modules. For proper operation, a hard-wire upgrade, a return-style fuel system, or a high-performance aftermarket control module is required. This pump comes with a 3-Year No-Fault Warranty.
