Dynamic+ TCU Software Upgrade for DQ381 G2 DSG

The 034Motorsport Dynamic+ TCU Software Upgrade is a transmission control unit calibration designed for MK8 Golf R and 8Y Audi S3 models equipped with the DQ381 G2 7-Speed DSG transmission. This software is flashed directly through your vehicle’s OBD-II port, optimizing the transmission's operation for various stages of ECU Tuning, from Stage 1 to Stage 3. The result is a noticeable improvement in acceleration, with a claimed enhancement in shift quality and drivability without compromising comfort or reliability. 034Motorsport offers different stages of TCU tuning. Stage 1 focuses on optimized torque management, increased clutch clamping pressure, and retaining factory safety systems, making it recommended for Stage 1 & 2 ECU Tunes. Stage 2 builds upon Stage 1, further enhancing shift speed, responsiveness, and launch control performance for tuned street and track applications, with features like faster upshifts and downshifts, optimized shift logic, and revised Drive & Sport mode behavior. Stage 3 is engineered specifically for use with the Garrett PowerMAX GT2563S Turbocharger Upgrade and Dynamic+ Stage 3 ECU Tuning, delivering faster shifts, optimized launch control, and revised shift points tailored for the turbocharger's expanded powerband. For 2022 and newer MK8 Volkswagen Golf R and 8Y Audi S3 models, a factory TCU flashing protection known as the 401 bootloader is present. To enable OBD-II flashing for these vehicles, the proprietary 034Motorsport Boot Loader Unlock (BLU) Harness must be purchased and used. This harness allows for a one-time unlock, enabling OBD flashing via the 034SPI Flashing Kit. Once unlocked, the TCU can be flashed and updated through the OBD-II port. The BLU Harness is only compatible with 034SPI and requires ownership of a 034Motorsport TCU tune. The Dynamic+ End User Flashing capability allows customers to receive and install tune updates and revisions, flash back to stock, or upgrade to the next stage of tuning for their vehicle. This can be done wirelessly via Bluetooth using the Dynamic+ R4 Dongle and the 034SPI mobile app, available on the App Store and Google Play, eliminating the need for a laptop or cables.
