The ESS E-Flash MSS60 ECU software is a performance calibration designed to optimize your BMW E9X M3's engine control unit. Developed through extensive road and track testing in extreme heat and cold, this software ensures flawless performance under any condition. It is based on the latest BMW factory operating system and can be used on a stock car or with other modifications, offering typical gains of +10-15hp and +10-12 ft-lbs of torque. The E-Flash system allows for quick switching between stock and upgraded software versions, accommodating any future upgrades or modifications with an instantly emailed tune. It is compatible with the latest tuner-protected ECU software and does not require a backdating of the ECU. The software includes full engine diagnostic functionality and code-clearing capabilities. Key specifications include reprogrammed ignition timing, VANOS, and fuel parameters for optimal performance, along with reprogrammed torque management. Optional custom features include an 8600 RPM limit, top speed governor removal (VMAX), and reprogrammed throttle response. Users can specify all modifications to their car for a tune optimized for their specific setup. This software is available for both US and European spec cars and keeps all emissions control functions active.
