E-Plug Harness Adapter

The Rywire K-Series Chassis Adapter is specifically engineered to allow the installation of a K-Series engine, utilizing either the 02-04 K20 engine harness or any Rywire K-Series engine harness. This crucial wiring component seamlessly connects your K-Series engine harness to your vehicle's interior chassis harness, while also incorporating the E-plug and all its associated functions. This adapter is primarily intended for use with K-Pro or re-flashed ECUs. However, it can also function with a stock RSX computer, provided that the immobilizers have been bypassed accordingly. To ensure a clean installation and proper fit, users may need to route shock tower plugs into the interior and drill a small hole in the exhaust tunnel for the O2 sensor plug. Rywire has developed this method over a year of research and development, aiming for the cleanest and most efficient K-swap integration. Installation involves connecting five wires to your factory computer plugs, with a diagram provided for accuracy. Notably, while the stock engine harness is not used with the K20, the chassis interior harness remains in use, so it should not be discarded or cut. Rywire also offers this jumper harness specifically for K-powered Honda Insights, which may require sending in your original Insight harness for connector reference. For Accord and Prelude owners, Rywire may need to borrow your stock engine harness to reference shock tower configurations due to the significant variations in these models, ensuring an exact match for ease of installation.
