Overview

The EFI Hardware E-Series IDA Throttle Kit is a budget-friendly fuel injection system component. It features a 50mm bore and fuel rails designed for 14mm O-ring full-length injectors. The kit includes 6° throttle plates, which improve off-idle and cruise driveability compared to traditional 12° plates. This throttle body is available in wide and narrow spacing and is not recommended for boosted applications due to the lack of throttle shaft seals.

The EFI Hardware E-Series IDA Throttle Kit offers a cost-effective solution for your fuel injection needs, featuring a 50mm bore and fuel rails compatible with 14mm O-ring full-length injectors. These throttle bodies are manufactured with precision, with each bore and throttle plate measured and matched to ensure perfect throttle fit and consistency. A key design element is the use of 6° throttle plates, a departure from the industry standard 12° plates. This optimization significantly enhances off-idle and cruise driveability, making the vehicle more enjoyable to operate by providing smoother airflow control at lower throttle openings. These include manifold choices for 13B Turbo, 13B N/A 6 Port, and JC/FD W Semi PP engines, along with manifold gasket options. Customers can also select from various air filter options, injector sets (550cc, 646cc, or 1000cc), fuel plumbing kits, and Throttle Position Sensors (TPS). The TPS features standard 8mm D drive and 32mm PCD M4 mounting holes. It is important to note that these E-Series throttles do not incorporate seals on the throttle shafts, and therefore, EFI Hardware does not recommend their use for boosted applications. Injector connectors are sold separately.
