The K&N E-1150 is a high-performance replacement air filter engineered to boost your engine's airflow, horsepower, and acceleration. Its washable and reusable design utilizes four layers of premium cotton gauze media, treated with a specialized tacking agent, to capture contaminants effectively while allowing for increased air intake. This filter is pre-oiled and ready for installation as a direct drop-in replacement for your factory air box, requiring no modifications. Constructed with durable, premium materials and employing state-of-the-art methods, the E-1150 is built for longevity and backed by K&N's No-Hassle Lifetime Limited Warranty. It offers a significant cost saving over disposable filters, with cleaning required only every 75,000 miles under normal driving conditions. The filter has an open top and a round shape, with specific dimensions including an 8-inch inside diameter, a 10-inch outside diameter, and a 3.5-inch height. This K&N air filter is specifically designed to fit 1979 to 1982 305 V8 engine models for C10 and K10 vehicles. Other fitment includes various Chevrolet C/K Pickups (1963-1973, 1979-1982, 1986-1995), Chevrolet Suburbans (1966-1973, 1979-1981), and 1978-1983 Chevrolet models. It is also compatible with a broad range of classic GM vehicles from the 1960s to 1990s and some 1963-2012 Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Pontiac models.
