The Garagistic E28/E24 Polyurethane Motor Mount Bushing offers a significant upgrade over stock rubber components for your BMW E28 or E24, specifically designed for models equipped with the M30 Big Six or M20 engines. This bushing, an exclusive offering from Garagistic, replaces BMW part number 11811128932 and features a unique captive stud design. The studs are encapsulated within the 80A polyurethane material, maximizing vibration dampening while the material itself provides enhanced rigidity. This increased rigidity leads to better power transfer and reduced engine movement, particularly beneficial during spirited driving or performance use. Garagistic offers these motor mount bushings in two polyurethane compounds: the 80A, recommended for street-driven cars with occasional spirited use, and the stiffer 95A, better suited for track-focused vehicles. For those prioritizing maximum support with no vibration dampening, a solid aluminum version is also available. Matching transmission bushings can be added as an optional upgrade to further refine your drivetrain. Installation notes indicate that professional installation is recommended, and while these polyurethane mounts offer improved rigidity, they will transfer more vibration to the cabin compared to stock rubber mounts.
