The Elite Engineering E2X Catch Can is specifically engineered for the 2017-2024 Camaro ZL1, addressing the challenges posed by modern Direct Injection gasoline engines. Its advanced design captures over 95% of harmful contaminants, including oil mist, un-burnt fuel, sulfuric acid, carbon, and soot. This comprehensive filtration prevents premature engine wear and reduces intake valve coking, contributing to longer engine life, improved fuel economy by minimizing knock-retard, and lower tail-pipe emissions. Unlike many market alternatives that primarily trap oil, the E2X system targets a broader range of damaging combustion by-products. Constructed from Billet 6061 T6 Aluminum, this catch can boasts a large coalescing chamber with corrosion-resistant Stainless Steel media, ensuring even dispersion. It incorporates two separate condensing chambers and a distinct outlet chamber to maximize the cooling and separation of suspended compounds, delivering the cleanest possible vapors. It comes standard with -6 or -8 90-degree swivel AN fittings. The E2-X Dual outlet system is particularly recommended for aggressively driven naturally aspirated or roots-style supercharged vehicles, as well as all forms of turbo or centrifugal supercharging. This dual-valve system addresses crankcase pressure buildup by providing a consistent evacuation and flush flow through the crankcase, even when the intake manifold vacuum is inconsistent. It taps into pre-throttle body suction or the turbo/centrifugal SC inlet to ensure proper crankcase evacuation, maintain emissions compliance, and protect engine longevity. The kit includes all necessary hoses, a mounting bracket, clamps, and hardware for a complete installation.
