E46 Coilovers

The Fashark E46 Coilovers are precision-engineered suspension components designed to dramatically enhance the driving experience for BMW 3-Series E46 models produced between 1998 and 2005. Unlike stock suspension systems focused on comfort, these coilovers offer a significant upgrade in control, stability, and handling performance. They effectively reduce body roll during cornering, making the vehicle feel more responsive and improving overall stability. The adjustable ride height feature allows users to lower their vehicle by 1 to 4 inches, achieving a customized aesthetic and optimizing driving dynamics for various conditions. Constructed with aluminum and steel components, these coilovers utilize a twin-tube shock type for a balance of performance and comfort. The front springs have a rate of 8 kg/mm (448 lbs/in) and a length of 194mm, while the rear springs are rated at 7 kg/mm (392 lbs/in) and 155mm in length. The adjustable height ranges from 509mm to 632mm for the front and 618mm to 703mm for the rear, with a spring preload of 7-10 mm. The product comes with pillow ball top mounts for the front and standard rubber top mounts for the rear. A 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects is included. Installation of these coilovers is recommended to be performed by a professional, as no instructions are included. Proper alignment is also suggested post-installation. The coilovers are explicitly not compatible with Xi 4-wheel drive models of the BMW E46.
