They are compatible with Treadstone side-mount intercoolers, including models like TR8, TR8L, TR1235, and TR1245. The brackets support intercoolers up to 4.5 inches thick and have been tested for builds exceeding 1000whp and 50psi.

The 22RPD E46 M3 Intercooler Brackets offer a robust and precise solution for installing high-performance side-mount intercoolers onto the E46 platform. Designed specifically for Treadstone intercoolers such as the TR8, TR8L, TR1235, and TR1245, these mounts accommodate intercooler cores up to 4.5 inches thick. They leverage the factory frame rail mounting points for a straightforward installation process, eliminating guesswork. Each set includes both a driver-side and a passenger-side bracket. These intercooler brackets are engineered to support extreme performance applications, having been tested in demanding drag and circuit racing environments for builds exceeding 1000 wheel horsepower and 50 psi of boost. Treadstone intercoolers, compatible with these mounts, are noted for their superior heat-sinking capacity, thermal mass, and durability compared to standard options, leading to better charge air cooling and improved power delivery. Installation notes indicate that the factory AUX fan must be removed. Additionally, trimming of the bumper support is required when installing larger intercooler core sizes. Please note that hardware is not included unless the brackets are purchased in conjunction with an intercooler.
