The Active Autowerke BMW E46 M3 Exhaust SECTION 1 is engineered to provide an effective exhaust solution for your BMW E46 M3 when paired with 100-cell Hi Flow metallic catalysts. This exhaust section is designed to replace the factory BMW Section 1, which is known to produce a distinctive rasp-like sound and an odor of unburnt fuel due to its open flow design. Upon installation with a performance header, this Active Autowerke SECTION 1 aims to eliminate the rasp-like resonance that occurs around 4,000 RPM, a characteristic sound of the BMW S54 engine. It also removes the unburnt fuel smell by incorporating a pair of 100-cell metallic catalysts, all while preserving strong exhaust flow and performance comparable to the factory setup. Constructed from 100% 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish, this exhaust section utilizes factory mounting points for a straightforward bolt-on installation. It is recommended for off-road use and comes with a two-year warranty and complimentary technical support. Key features include the elimination of unburnt fuel odor, suppression of exhaust noise, and a durable construction for longevity.
