The ZZPerformance E85 OE Flex Fuel Sensor is an OEM GM mini-style sensor manufactured by Continental. This component is utilized in ZZPerformance's custom flex fuel conversion kits and is ideal as a replacement part for their updated systems or as an OE sensor upgrade for compatible vehicles. It functions by measuring the ethanol content in the fuel, allowing the vehicle's ECU to automatically adjust fueling, ignition timing, and boost levels accordingly. This enables the engine to run safely and optimally on various ethanol blends. It is crucial to note that installing a flex fuel sensor requires additional supporting modifications. The vehicle must be equipped with a compatible wiring harness, fuel lines, and undergo PCM tuning to properly utilize the flex fuel sensor's capabilities. Without these components, the sensor cannot be effectively integrated, and flex fuel cannot be added to the vehicle. This sensor is specifically noted to work on 2013-2015 ATS models, but it will not fit the 2016 model year at this time.
