EA888.4 109mm Engine Cold Air Intake System

The APR Full Intake System is engineered as the ultimate induction upgrade for the 2.0T EA888.4 Engine, specifically designed for the MQB Evo platform. This comprehensive 109 mm intake system starts from dual frontal inlet scoops and extends all the way to the included turbocharger inlet adapter, connecting directly to the turbo. The system offers complete configurability, allowing it to function as either an open or closed intake system. Optional covers, including an OEM-style cover and stylish carbon fiber options in twill or forged carbon, are available to customize the look and performance. It boasts significantly increased airflow compared to the stock system, features a lower pressure drop, and is proven to increase horsepower and torque. Users can expect improved throttle and turbo response, along with a more satisfying intake sound. The system's straight-through design minimizes restrictions and turbulence, with an integrated low-profile flex section to accommodate necessary movement. Performance gains are substantial: on a Stage 1 equipped vehicle with no other changes, it delivers an immediate 15 AWHP and 12 AWFT-LBS of torque. Installation is straightforward, requiring only three clamps for the entire system, and optional covers can be installed tool-free. This part is legal under EPA's Tampering Policy and is sold for on-street use in all states accepting the Clean Air Act and EPA Tampering Policy provisions. Testing for 50-state compliance with CARB is pending. The system is designed for MQB Evo platform vehicles with the 2.0T EA888.4 engines (LK2 with Garret Turbocharger or LK3 with Continental Turbocharger) and does not use a MAF sensor. Vehicles with Secondary Air Injection (SAI) will require the SAI filter (CI100020-A).
