EA888 Gen 3 3.5-Inch Cold Air Intake

The Integrated Engineering intake system is engineered for EA888 Gen 3 2.0T and 1.8T engines, offering significant airflow improvements for tuned vehicles and those with hybrid or large turbochargers. This cold air intake features 3.5-inch piping and a 5-inch air filter, complemented by smooth 3-ply silicone couplers for optimal flow. Its design incorporates a built-in velocity stack and a robust aluminum alloy heat shield that channels high-pressure air directly to the filter, effectively sealing out hot engine bay air. This motorsport-inspired design aims to enhance turbo sound and overall driving experience, amplifying engine notes and turbo spool sounds. The system includes silicone couplers for both stock and upgraded turbo inlets, and a stealth coolant line is provided at no extra cost. This intake system is 50-state CARB legal (EO Number D-838-1), ensuring emissions compliance across the USA. For owners of the VW Arteon, please note that the optional carbon fiber lid is not compatible without washer filler neck relocation, and an IE Turbo Inlet Pipe upgrade (sold separately) is required. Additionally, some European models may have a front-mounted crash sensor that requires modification to the heat shield for proper fitment. Importantly, this intake does not fit Audi A3 engines equipped with a MAF sensor, which are commonly found in FWD models.
