EA888 Gen 3 High-Pressure Fuel Pump Upgrade

The 034Motorsport Assembled High-Pressure Fuel Pump Upgrade is designed as a convenient, direct replacement for the factory high-pressure fuel pump found in EA888 Gen 3 2.0T engines. Specifically fitted for the MK7/7.5 Volkswagen GTI/GLI/R, 8V/8V.5 Audi A3/S3, and 8S Audi TT/TTS, this upgrade unlocks up to a 38.6% increase in fuel flow compared to the stock unit. This enhanced flow capability is crucial for meeting the higher demands of performance fuels such as ethanol and race gas, as well as maximizing the potential of upgraded pump gas. It is also a perfect match for 034Motorsport's Dynamic+ ECU software that necessitates an upgraded High Pressure Fuel Pump, making it a key component for performance tuning. The pump utilizes an OE VAG (Hitachi) pump with the 034Motorsport High Pressure Fuel Pump Piston Upgrade Kit pre-installed, ensuring a plug-and-play installation. The internally-used components, including the piston and cylinder, are DLC coated for reduced friction and enhanced performance, and are machined to aerospace tolerances. The piston diameter is increased from 9.92mm to 11.70mm, and the stroke volume increases from 231mm³ to 322mm³, allowing for fuel pressures exceeding 240 bar (3,480psi).
