The 034Motorsport Turbo Inlet Pipe is engineered to maximize airflow to the turbocharger in the 2.0T MQB-Evo engine found in the Volkswagen MK8 Golf R and Audi 8Y S3. Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with a generous 76mm internal diameter, this pipe is designed to provide the highest possible flow rate to the turbo inlet. The inlet pipe features a precisely machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum compressor inlet flange. The pipe is intended to mate with OEM-style turbo inlet hoses, and a bead-rolled edge ensures a secure fit and retention. The finished product boasts a durable gloss black coating for longevity and aesthetics, accented by a laser-etched 034 logo. Installation is straightforward, being a direct bolt-on upgrade. The design includes a unique CNC-machined billet aluminum adapter ring that smoothly connects the turbocharger and the inlet pipe, utilizing an O-ring for a proper seal. This turbo inlet pipe has demonstrated significant airflow improvements, with tested gains of approximately 22.50%. When tested alone, the OE 8Y S3 / Golf R assembly flowed 437.38 CFM at 28 in.H20, while the 034Motorsport pipe with an 'Insuction Bundle' achieved 535.81 CFM at 28 in.H20.
