EA888 Gen1/2 2.0T Cold Air Intake

The Integrated Engineering cold air intake system is engineered to deliver maximum airflow and performance for 2.0T TSI (EA888 Gen1/2) engines. Constructed from aluminum with a black powder coat finish, this intake features a securely fastened bellmouth design that creates a solid mount for the air filter and turbo inlet pipe. This bellmouth, along with a massive oversized air filter, can support over 500HP. A thermal blocking heat shield creates a barrier against engine bay heat, drawing only cold air from the front of the vehicle through an opening in the radiator support. This design prevents the intake from being placed lower where it could be exposed to road debris or fluid, while also allowing for factory placement. However, specific engine codes require attention: CBFA engine codes are equipped with a secondary air injection (SAI) pump and will require a small breather filter for this SAI line. CCTA engine codes do not have this SAI pump and will not require the filter. This cold air intake is specifically for 2.0T TSI (timing chain driven) EA888 Gen1 & Gen2 direct injection engines. It is not compatible with early model 2.0T FSI (timing belt driven) EA113 engines found in pre-2009 MK5 GTI or late model EA888 Gen3 engines found in 2013.5+ GLI. Users should verify their engine type (FSI vs. TSI Gen3) before ordering. Compatible vehicles include Audi A3 (MK2/8P) 2008-2013, VW MK5 GTI late 2009, VW MK6 GTI 2010-2014, VW MK6 Jetta/GLI 2011-2013.5, and VW CC 2009-2017.
