Developed on a performance test bench, this system features an optimized design that ensures a smooth and increased air flow to the compressor. Its integrated heat shield actively draws in cool air, which is crucial for optimal combustion and maximum performance. The PA 6.6 material construction offers high strength, toughness, and resistance to oils, greases, and fuels, while remaining very light. The BAR-TEK intake enhances performance by increasing throughput and reducing pressure drop, resulting in gains of up to 25 hp and 20 Nm of torque. It also provides a more aggressive and satisfying engine sound. The intake comes with TÜV certification for a wide range of EA888 MQB engines, including specific models from Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Cupra, and Škoda. However, the warranty is void in cases of improper installation or maintenance, incorrect engine tuning, use of unsuitable lubricants, damage from foreign objects, leaks, contaminants in the oil, blocked engine ventilation, increased exhaust back pressure, inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components, accidents, or exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
