The HPA Turbo Muffler Delete is a direct replacement for the restrictive OE unit found in 1.8T and 2.0T EA888 TSI engines. It replaces the factory muffler which is intended to add turbulence and deflect airflow for a quieter ride, but at the cost of reduced power and boost response.

The HPA Turbo Muffler Delete is engineered as a direct replacement for the restrictive OE muffler located at the compressor outlet of the IHI turbocharger in 1.8T and 2.0T EA888 TSI engines. This modification is intended to improve throttle response and unlock more power from the turbocharger. Additionally, it allows the distinct sound of the turbo spool to be audible. This turbo muffler delete is compatible with a wide range of Volkswagen and Audi models equipped with the EA888 TSI engine. Specific applications include the VW MK7 GTI (2013+), MK7 GTI Clubsport (2016+), MK7 Golf R (2013+), B8 Passat 2.0 TSI (2015+), Audi 8V S3 (2013+), 8S TT (2014+), 8S TT 2.0 TSI (2014+), and 8S TTS (2015+). It also fits SEAT Leon Cupra (2014+), Skoda Octavia VRS III (2014+), and Skoda Superb 1.8/2.0 TSI (2015+). Vehicle fitment table: Audi S3 8V (2015-2020) Sedan 2.0T, Audi TT Mk3 (2016+) 2.0T, Audi TT-S Mk3 (2016+) 2.0T, VW Golf/GTI Mk7 (2015-2017) GTI 2.0T, and VW Mk7 Golf R (2015-2017) 2.0T.
