The iABED Industries Billet Aluminum Rear Main Seal Upgrade offers a permanent solution to common rear main seal failures in VW and Audi TSI engines. These failures are often attributed to faulty PCV valves, which can generate excessive crankcase pressure that overwhelms the stock seal. The factory seal uses a thin rubber surface that degrades over time due to heat cycles and oil saturation.
