Description

Lightweight forged 4340 steel crankshafts from Eagle Specialty Products for high-performance engines, designed for quicker revving. Features include a multi-stage heat-treatment, stress-relieved and shot-peened finish, X-ray, magnaflux, and sonic testing for quality. Chamfered oil holes improve oiling, and a .125 inch radius on rod and main journals increases strength (requires chamfered bearings). All journals are precision-ground and micro-polished to less than 5 R.A. A target bob weight of +/- 2 percent reduces balancing time.
