Eagle ESP H-beam connecting rods are 2-piece, forged, vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel for outstanding strength and lighter weight than stock rods. Each rod is multi-stage heat-treated, x-rayed, sonic-tested, magnafluxed, 100% machined, and shot-peened to stress-relieve the metal. They feature precision cap alignment sleeves, silicon bronze bushings for floating pin models, and are available in stroker models for additional cam-to-rod clearance. They come standard with 190,000 psi rated 7/16 ARP 8740 rod bolts (750 HP rating), with upgrades to 230,000 psi rated 7/16 ARP 2000 (1200 HP rating) or 265,000 psi rated 7/16 ARP L-19 bolts (1500 HP rating). Includes instructions and rod bolt lubrication. Pit Stop USA adds: Forged 4340 steel H-Beam connecting rods, fully machined and shot-peened. Sizing held to exact tolerances.
