Eagle Chevy 383 1pc Seal 4140 Forged Crankshaft

Eagle forged 4140 steel cranks feature a non-twist forging, .125" fillet radiuses for superior strength so chamfered / narrowed bearings required, nitrided surface and micropolished. Intended for competition use. Crankshaft must be balanced to match your specific Rods and pistons. Eagle cast steel crankshafts are an upgrade from OEM crankshafts, recommended for pump-gas, naturally-aspirated, non-competition road cars. They feature exceptional strength and quality, undergoing a multi-stage heat treatment process, stress relieving, shot peening, and nitriding. Each journal is micropolished to a 3 or better R.A. On all journals, a 0.125" radius is used to increase strength, requiring chamfered bearings. These are designed for internal balance, with a target bobweight of +/- 2% for easy balancing.
