The Eagle 18023L BB Chevy 496 Street Strip Rotating Assembly is a high-performance rotating assembly kit designed for Big Block Chevrolet 454 engines, converting them into 496 cubic inch stroker engines suitable for street and strip applications. This kit is intended for pump gas engines producing up to 700 horsepower without the use of power adders. It includes an Eagle cast steel crankshaft with a 4.250" stroke, Eagle forged 5140 steel 'SIR' I-Beam rods with 7/16" ARP 8740 rod bolts, Keith Black hypereutectic dome pistons with a performance ring set, and performance rod and main bearings. The kit requires external balancing and is designed for a 1-piece rear main seal and a short deck 9.780 block.
