Description

These 2-piece, forged, vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel H-beam connecting rods offer outstanding strength while being lighter than stock. Each rod undergoes multi-stage heat treatment, X-ray, sonic, and magnaflux testing, 100% machining, and shot-peening for stress relief. They feature precision cap alignment sleeves, silicon bronze bushings for floating pin models, and are available in stroker versions for increased cam-to-rod clearance. They come with 190,000 psi rated ARP 8740 and 230,000 psi rated ARP 2000 rod bolts.
