EAL Arctic ISO 22 Refrigeration Compressor Oil

The Mobil EAL Arctic Series is a line of high-performance, fully synthetic lubricants engineered specifically for the lubrication of refrigeration compressors and systems. This ISO 22 viscosity grade oil is designed for use with ozone-friendly synthetic HFC refrigerants, as well as newer HFO refrigerants and HFO/HFC blends that have a lower Global Warming Potential. It is also compatible with A1 and A2L refrigerants, as classified by ASHRAE 34/ISO 817 safety standards. Formulated with proprietary synthesized Polyol Esters (POEs) and a unique additive package, Mobil EAL Arctic ISO 22 offers outstanding lubricity, superior wear protection, excellent chemical and thermal stability, and robust hydrolytic stability. The oil demonstrates well-defined miscibility and pressure-viscosity-temperature (P-V-T) relationships with a wide range of HFC, HFO, and HFO/HFC refrigerants, ensuring high system efficiency and proper oil return. Its high Viscosity Index and wax-free formulation provide excellent low-temperature fluidity, preventing waxy deposits and improving evaporator efficiency. This compressor oil is recognized globally for its exceptional performance across diverse refrigerants and operating conditions. It was developed in close collaboration with key compressor OEMs and system designers to meet the demands of new-generation, environmentally friendlier refrigerants.
