The ESCORT Easy Hardwire Kit is a 9.8-foot cable that facilitates a clean and simple installation for ESCORT Radar Detectors by connecting directly to your vehicle's OBDII port. This plug-and-play solution draws power from the OBDII port, freeing up your vehicle's accessory power outlets. For optimal performance and to prevent constant power draw when the vehicle is off, compatible radar detectors may require adjustments to their power settings. It is important to note that this kit may not work in all vehicle makes and models. Specific compatibility issues may arise when connecting to a MAXcam 360c or a Portable Radar Detector with an M2 Dash Cam attached.
