The USR (Ultimax Slotted Rotor) range by EBC is a premium, silent street rotor designed for fast street use, made from high-quality R90-approved G3000 grey iron blanks. EBC manufactures 92% of its products in-house, ensuring strict quality control through BS5750 and ISO certifications. The USR rotors feature a narrow multi-slot design that reduces noise while effectively removing gas, dirt, and debris, promoting smooth, even pad wear. Unlike drilled rotors, slotted designs help prevent ridges from forming on pads and rotors, ensuring consistent braking performance over time. The main benefits of slotted rotors are their ability to release gases and ensure even, smooth pad wear, making them perfect for performance braking. For optimal results, they should be paired with high-friction brake pads. When used with EBC's Redstuff, Greenstuff, or Yellowstuff pads, these rotors offer a notable boost in braking performance. The distinct slot pattern in the EBC USR Series is especially popular with drivers who want enhanced braking without excessive air noise. The finer slots allow for quieter operation while effectively removing gas, dirt, water, and debris from the braking surface.
