All EBC rotors are British made and are precision machined in the UK. Rotors are made from high quality grey iron to exacting standards and undergo extensive testing and rigorous quality control.Slotted rotors can significantly improve brake performance and longevity when used with a matching high friction pad set. The EBC USR1178 is a USR (Ultimax Slotted Rotor) premium, silent street range brake rotor designed for fast street use. It is made using high-quality R90-approved G3000 grey iron rotor blanks. The narrower multi-slot design and progressive angle of the slots ensure quiet operation while effectively removing gas, dirt, water, and debris, and maintaining parallel pad wear. This design prevents ridges from developing on pads and rotors, which is common with "drilled only" sport rotors, thereby maintaining consistent braking throughout the pad and rotor wear life.
