The EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are a performance-oriented upgrade designed to reduce dust and enhance stopping power. Engineered with a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads offer improved braking performance compared to OEM options, stopping passenger cars up to 13 meters quicker from 100 mph. They are characterized by low dust output, with an approximate 50-percent reduction, and the dust is easily cleaned. The Redstuff pads are suitable for normal commute and performance street driving, providing a good braking effect even when cold and improving as they heat up. They are also noted for being gentle on rotors.

These pads feature EBC's Brake-In surface coating to condition the rotor surface and accelerate the pad bed-in process, which can take up to 1000 miles due to the hard-wearing nature of the compound. The material is quieter and lasts longer than previous versions of Redstuff. Most Red Ceramic pads, including this model, are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
