The EBC USR or Ultimax slotted rotor range is a premium silent street range designed for fast street use, made using high-quality G3000 grey iron rotor blanks. All EBC rotors, including USR Slotted Rotors, are British made and precision machined in the UK. They are crafted from high-quality grey iron to exacting standards and undergo extensive testing and rigorous quality control. Slotted rotors can significantly improve brake performance and longevity when used with a matching high friction brake pad set. The narrower multi-slot design and progressive angle of the slots create a quiet running sport rotor that removes gas, dirt, water, and debris, maintaining parallel pad wear. EBC emphasizes that the primary advantage of slotted rotors is promoting flat and parallel pad wear, preventing ridges typical of 'drilled only' sport rotors, which leads to more consistent braking throughout the pad and rotor wear life. When used with higher friction EBC Redstuff, Greenstuff, or Yellowstuff brake pads, these rotors deliver improved braking. The finer slot pattern of the EBC USR Series makes them a popular choice for drivers seeking enhanced sport braking with minimal air noise while still offering pad degassing and cleaning of the braking area. All new Gen 3 Rotors are silver coated.

All EBC rotors are British made and are precision machined in the UK.
