EBC Racing 01-07 Acura RSX Type S 2.0L Front 2 Piece Rotor Replacement (Pair)

These EBC Racing 2-Piece Floating Brake Disc Rotors (SG2FK-023) are a direct replacement for discs in EBC Brakes Racing Big Brake kits or a bolt-on upgrade for vehicles with standard 1-piece cast iron discs of the same dimensions. They convert to a fully floating 2-piece system without vehicle modifications, featuring 48 directionally-handed, curved vanes for efficient heat dissipation. Lighter than OE discs, these rotors are engineered for superior performance and are designed, manufactured, and run-out tested in the UK. The outer friction rings are cast from a high-copper, high-carbon G3500 disc alloy, while the bells are precision machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and hard-anodized. The cast iron friction ring floats on EBC's patented SD-Drive technology bobbins, allowing up to 3mm expansion/contraction under extreme heat. Bobbins are single-piece stainless steel to prevent corrosion, with anti-rattle spring clips for silent operation. This design reduces unsprung rotational mass, improving handling, fuel economy, and horsepower. The friction rings can be replaced independently, reusing the center hub and bobbins for lower long-term costs.
